Protoboard
A protoboard, also known as a breadboard, is a reusable solderless device used for prototyping and testing electronic circuits. It allows developers and hobbyists to quickly assemble and modify circuits by inserting components and wires into interconnected holes without soldering. This makes it ideal for experimenting with designs before committing to a permanent printed circuit board (PCB).
Developers should learn to use a protoboard when working on hardware projects, embedded systems, or electronics prototyping, as it enables rapid iteration and debugging of circuits. It is essential for testing components like microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi), sensors, and LEDs in a flexible, low-risk environment before finalizing designs for production.
